晴空萬里‧航空英文詞彙分享

航空（英語：Aviation）狹義上則指的是載人或非載人的飛行器在大氣層中的航行活動，廣義上航空一詞也指進行航空活動所必須的科學，同時也泛指研究開發航空器所涉及的各種技術。人類的飛行技術一直到18世紀後期，初階的載人熱氣球在歐洲升空後才首度實現。

20世紀初隨著工業革命帶來的科技進步，人類的航空事業得以迅速發展。1903年12月17日，美國人萊特兄弟成功試飛人類第一架重於空氣、帶有動力、受控並可持續滯空的飛機，也逐漸帶動了現今飛航技術的發展。
